lovely mild buttery cheese from the nearby Fountains Dairy.
Reborn after 50 years, Coverdale is a fresh tasting creamy
cheese with an open but firm consistency.
For those with a taste for the traditional
it has a nutty taste. Also available with chives.
Matures after 4-5 weeks. Originally a clothbound truckle cheese,
now waxed. Ideal for the cheeseboard. Coverdale cheese is
made from cow’s milk.
