Cotherstone Cheese
Cotherstone
is an age old Dales recipe.
Cotherstone cheese shares its heritage
with High Force, Strathmore ,the Bowes Lyon family and the
High Pennines part of England where hardiness is synonymous
with success.
Cotherstone cheese has a yeasty taste
with a white wine acidity and citrus tang. The wonderful hard
crumbly consistency releases its unique flavour with a seductive
reluctance. Rich flavour with a sharp finish.
Matures in 2-10 weeks. 45% fat. Unpasteurised.
Made from cow’s milk.
